REBIRTH OF CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT

Election Integrity

We believe that our constitution intended to secure the opportunity for fair elections where every state is represented. Now, more than ever, we need to take action to ensure the integrity of this most fundamental of our rights. Doing away with anything that will potentially compromise the results of our elections, such as a digital voting system and mail-in ballots, is a must. Paper ballots with voter ID and registration must be the way forward to conduct our elections nationwide.

“Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual —— or at least that he ought not so to do; but that he is executing one of the most solemn trust in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country. ”

Samuel Adams

Founding Father of the United States

THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE

We are the United States of America, not the United People of America. We believe in the fairness of an electoral college based on the foundation our Founding Fathers laid, as they had no interest in creating a majority-ruled democracy. Our Founding Fathers understood the dangers of a pure democracy, thus combining a popular vote by citizens within their respective states and a vote in Congress by respective electors. This is one factor that makes this nation a REPUBLIC under God, not a democracy.

This agreement between the people and Congress was created to bring the equality of representation to the presidential vote. In an ideal world, the electoral college discourages voter fraud. The amount of electoral college members is based on the size of the state in which they are located. Regardless of a candidate receiving the majority of the popular vote, having electors from each state ensures equal representation for ALL states. KCP believes that every voter in every state matters. Therefore, the electoral college must remain as designed under our constitution to guard against the tyranny of the majority.

VOTER ID & PAPER BALLOTS

Our elections should be made easy for people to vote yet very difficult for people to cheat.

KCP advocates for the banning of “mail-in voting”. There is no possible way to account for all mail-in ballots or properly track the voters’ eligibility when states automatically send every citizen an absentee ballot or a form to fill out to request one. This expansion of absentee ballot eligibility conveniently took place during the “pandemic”. It included people who weren’t absent from their precinct at the time of voting. KCP still supports the original use of absentee ballots as long as they are requested in advance by a registered/verified voter and delivered by Election Day.

Furthermore, using a digital system is unreliable as there is no safe way to protect a digital voting system from a foreign or domestic hack.

The simple solution is voter ID and paper ballots. KCP concludes that to vote, a voter must provide a government-issued voter ID with an emblem placed on registered voter ID cards or a voter registration with a valid state ID. Each voter, after proper verification, will cast their vote with a paper ballot. Any ballot without an attached valid ID will not be considered.

“Choose for your tribes wise, understanding, and experienced men, and I will appoint them as your heads.’”

Deuteronomy 1:13 (ESV)

“Show me a righteous ruler and I will show you a happy people. Show me a wicked ruler and I will show you a miserable people.’”

Proverbs 29:2 (GNT)

A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight.”
