AMERICAN RESURGENCE

Military

We believe there is no greater love than when someone lays down his life for a friend. We desire to regain the greatness that our military once sought to fight and selflessly died for. Our motto as a people should be God, family, and country. Though we are a melting pot of many ethnicities, backgrounds, and cultures, we are one nation under God.

“I am, indeed, very grateful to the brave men who have been struggling with the enemy in the field, to their noble commanders who have directed them, and especially to our Maker… While we are grateful to all the brave men and officers for the events of the past few days, we should, above all, be very grateful to Almighty God, who gives us victory.”

Abraham Lincoln

16th U.S. president (1861-1865)

MILITARY BUDGET

A legitimate and primary purpose of civil government is to safeguard the God-given rights of its citizen’s life, liberty, and property. Only those duties, functions, and programs specifically assigned to the federal government by the Constitution should be funded. There are currently 17 national intelligence agencies and offices, including military intelligence and regular military, that use almost 1 trillion of funding per annum.

We understand the importance of our military and the intelligence community, but price-gouging practices have plagued us for decades. Suppliers see no issue increasing prices because it is a “government” contract. The reality is our leaders are budgeting and spending unreasonable amounts of money to “protect” our nation. The federal government has no authority to mandate policies or budget tax revenue relating to state education, natural resources, private business, health care, the arts, etc. Yet, if you read the fine print, you will always find line items that have no bearing on our military readiness.

KCP will expose wasteful spending and call Congress to stop all federal expenditures that the U.S. Constitution does not specifically authorize. We call upon the President to use his veto power to stop irresponsible and unconstitutional spending and refuse to spend money appropriated by Congress for unconstitutional programs.

CURBING TRAUMA, ADDICTION & HOMELESSNESS

Trauma, addiction, and homelessness have plagued our veterans for a very long time. While counseling and prescription drugs can bring some relief, it takes supernatural power to save one’s soul, heal one’s heart and cleanse one’s conscience from the horrors of war.

KCP favors a Kingdom approach to assisting our veterans. Some inventory or audit should be taken of all our soldiers’ and veterans’ available federal resources. Those that work would be maintained and improved upon, with the help of veterans themselves, ministries, and organizations that have made it their passion to support our military.

We believe there should be no restrictions to preaching the Gospel and studying the Bible within our armed forces. The stakes are way too high to adopt a secular approach. America is a Christian nation; she cannot afford to not rely on Christ on the battlefield abroad and within.

VETERANS AFFAIRS

No soldier should lose their life in a useless war or die on a waiting list. KCP supports many of the Trump era initiatives to keep the Department of Veterans Affairs accountable.

Policies such as the Veterans Choice Program Extension and Improvement Act, the Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act, VA Mission Act should either remain in place or be reinstated as long as they serve our military with integrity. The VA can no longer be a cesspool of bureaucracy and corruption. It should operate like a business to serve our armed forces and honor our taxpayers’ hard-earned money.

CRT & "TRANSGENDERISM"

In years past, our military has sought to recruit Americans from all walks of life. Young men and women were introduced to people and cultures they may have never been introduced to before. They were trained to be a team, brothers and sisters fighting alongside one another and watching their backs, regardless of color. They were bound by a brotherhood/sisterhood that would last a lifetime. Today, some elements within our military leadership are seeking to destroy that. Our military should have no intersectionality other than red, white & blue. The function of a mighty army is operational readiness, not theories of diversity, equity, and inclusion, which are buzz words for critical social justice rooted in Marxist ideology.

Our Armed Forces should continue to have full access to an education and practical skills to be ready in and out of service. As they, along with our first responders, are called to be on the front lines to defend our nation, there should be a sense of pride in them to stand for American values of faith, family & freedom. No anti-American doctrine should be allowed to infiltrate our military.

KCP endorses the Trump Administration policies that essentially banned “transgender” people from serving in the military. Our armed forces have enough concerns on their plate. Calling people by their pronoun of choice should not be one of them. We, as a party, renounce the current “administration” malicious attempts at weakening our military while China and Russia are strengthening theirs.

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

John 15:13 (NLT)

“Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle”

Psalm 144:1 (NKJV)

“But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.’”

Ezekiel 33:6 (NLT)
